BUying FAQ

Do you offer a Money Back Guarantee?
Preloved Monaco can offer you a Money Back Guarantee valid for 3 full days/72 hrs from receipt of your item, for most reasons *. 
After receiving your order, if you choose to return the item, here are the steps for the refund:
  • Your return request has been accepted
  • ​You have 72h to ship the item and send us the tracking number 
​​All you need to do is make a return request and return the item within 72 hours. We will reimburse you as soon as possible!
Can Shipping Costs Be Refunded?
The shipping costs are only refunded to the buyer for the following return reasons: 
  • Item's condition
  • Incorrect description
  • Incorrect item received
  • Defective item
  • Doubt on the authenticity (after verification by legal team)

In case of return for non-conformity, supporting documents can be asked. For example: 
  • Wrong size > picture of the ticket
  • Defective item > pictures of the damages
What if I doubt the authenticity of the product?
The return of items, if you are in doubt of their authenticity, should be done to Preloved Monaco to the address received by e-mail. After delivery, Preloved Monaco will process to the control of the item, will determine its authenticity and will refund the buyer in 48h.  According to our terms and conditions, the return shipping cost still remain to the buyer. Any return request has to be done during the period of 48h from My Orders. 
Does the WarrantY Apply to All Products?
The warranty does not apply to the following categories: beauty products, perfumes, underwear, tights and swimwear for personal hygiene.

CAN I sell my clothes, bags, shoes and accessories?
Preloved Monaco and The Queen Bee would love to sell your preloved clothes, bags, shoes and accessories.

Please contact us to make an appointment by sending an email to [email protected] or call us on
04 93 83 53 68 during shop hours, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7pm non stop.

All consignments must be either a designer label, or a fashionable high street brand. We take items seasonally that are clean, ironed and in perfect condition. 

​The Queen Bee will not be held responsible for any damage that may happen to the consignments during the trying on of clothes.
How Are clothes, bags, shoes and accessories Priced?
We price each item we accept based on our many years of experience in the fashion industry. An itemised list of all items that have been accepted will be sent to the consignor in 3 to 5 business days by email. We cannot guarantee that we will accept all items  - we make choices based on our knowledge of our clients preferences and what we already stock in the shop.
 
The Queen Bee works on a 50/50 basis of the sale price of each item after TVA.

​All consignments must be either a designer label, or a fashionable high street brand. We take items seasonally that are clean, ironed and in perfect condition. 

​Unless otherwise notified, all items will be reduced during the legal sale periods of January and July each year. The Queen Bee also reserves the right to reduce items by 10/20% to close a sale.
What happens if my clothes, bags, shoes and accessories don't sell?
We work on a sale or return basis, keeping the items for a maximum of twelve weeks and settlement is made at the end of your consignment period. Payments are not made during the school holidays.
 
Any clothing items that have not been sold after a eight week period, will be reduced by 25% for a period of four weeks.
 
Any items that are not picked up at the end of the twelve week period will be donated to charity, unless other arrangements have been made by email. We do not have the space to store clothes.
 
The merchandise belongs to the consignor until it is sold or sent to the charity shop.

Guarantee Authenticity

Before any item is listed online, it is first examined and authenticated by our in-house team of experts who have beee trained especially for this. Please, note that Brands we carry are not involved in the authentication process as we resort to independent experts. We are not an authorized reseller and therefore, Brands are not responsible for any products purchased through our website and do not guaranty the authenticity of the goods sold.
The Queen Bee commits to fully reimburse you if any of our items is proven deceptive or counterfeit by an expert authentication from a third-party after this expert has been first approved by The Queen Bee.
Please provide your claim on forfeited item to our customer service department by email to [email protected] within 2 business days upon receipt of the said item.
Note that The Queen Bee will accept claims on deceptive items subject to the Customer providing a detailed and clear account of the reasons for their claim. If reasonable indication shall justify the customer’s claim, The Queen Bee will notify the User to send back the purchased item. The expert authentication shall be provided within 15 business days upon receipt of the item.
If the item proves to be counterfeit following such an expertise, The Queen Bee will reimburse the customer’s purchase, including expertise carried out by The Queen Bee and shipping costs.
Customer refund for deceptive items shall be governed under our Returns Policy as stated above.

Satisfied or re-imbursed
Preloved Monaco can offer you a Money Back Guarantee valid for 7 full days from receipt of your item, (except the items listed below *)

Preloved Monaco accepts all returns of all purchased items on its website subject to the condition that the items are identical to the product description.
When returning an order, the Customer shall comply with the following process :
1. A return request shall be filed by email to [email protected] within 7 business days of receipt of the item (as proven by the postal tracking number).
2. Items must be sent back to the following address : The Queen Bee, Palais Gallia, Place de la Crémaillère, 06240 Beausoleil. In case of a claim and/or a withdrawal from the sale, the Product must be returned complete in the original packaging with all its accessories and documents, its labels and seals duly affixed, in an identical or similar packaging to that of the original consignment. In any event, the Product must be returned in the same state as when it was sent out.. The Customer shall use an express courier delivery service and items must arrive at The Queen Bee within 7 days upon filing a return request.
3. Should the Buyer return a Product and should his request for reimbursement be approved, then subject to the checks conducted by The Queen Bee to ensure that the returned Product is indeed the Product that was delivered and that it was not deliberately damaged, The Queen Bee shall instruct the escrow agent to reimburse the Transaction Price. This reimbursement shall take place within thirty days following the date of the claim or of the withdrawal from the sale.
Shipments fees will not be refunded by The Queen Bee, which you agree to by placing a return request.





Hidden defects:
Pursuant to article 1483 Monegasque Code Civil, Customers are entitled to be fully refunded when items contain one or more hidden defects (such defect is considered as such when preventing the item’s use under normal conditions of the item).
Hidden defect claims are governed under the same conditions as stated for deceptive items.

Refund
For all the aforementioned cases, The Queen Bee will proceed when appropriate, to the purchase refund using the payment source initially used by the Customer, within 30 business days and upon validation of the proven case.
